1. Who we are
Hoppr is operated by William van der Kraats, sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak), registered in Belgium under enterprise number 0804.947.471 (VAT BE0804.947.471), with registered office at Korenveld 35, 1932 Sint-Stevens-Woluwe, Belgium ("we", "us"). Contact: W.vanderkraats@icloud.com.
2. Adults only
You must be at least 18 years old to use Hoppr. By using the service you confirm that you are 18 or older. Accounts and devices that appear to belong to minors are banned. If you are under 18, leave this site now.
3. What Hoppr is
Hoppr randomly connects you with another person for a live video and text conversation. Video and audio are sent directly between the two participants' devices (peer-to-peer) or through a relay server; we do not record conversations.
4. Your behaviour
You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. In particular, you must not show nudity or sexual content, involve minors in any way, harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone, record or distribute other users without their consent, or use Hoppr for advertising, spam or illegal purposes.
5. Moderation
To keep Hoppr safe we use automated tools that analyse video images for nudity, and we review reports from users. Automated analysis of your own camera runs inside your browser. When a violation is detected or reported, a still image of the video may be captured and stored for review (see our Privacy Policy).
We may end conversations and temporarily or permanently restrict access for a device or network when we detect or receive reports of violations. When we restrict your access, we show you the reason and how long the restriction lasts. You can contest a decision by contacting W.vanderkraats@icloud.com.
We report content that may involve the sexual abuse of children to the competent authorities.
6. Reporting illegal content
Anyone can report illegal content or behaviour using the Report button during a chat, or via our contact page.
7. No guarantees
Hoppr connects you with strangers. We cannot guarantee how other users behave. The service is provided "as is", and we may change, suspend or stop it at any time. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for the behaviour of other users.
8. Paid features
Hoppr is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we will show the price, billing period and cancellation terms before you buy, and update these terms.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Belgian law. This does not take away the protection given to consumers by the mandatory law of their country of residence.
