Community Guidelines
Hoppr is for meeting people from around the world: practising languages, sharing cultures and having good conversations. Keep it that way and everyone has a better time.
Zero tolerance: instant ban
- Anyone under 18. Hoppr is for adults only.
- Nudity or sexual content, including sexual acts, exposing yourself, or sexual gestures.
- Anything that sexualises minors. We report this to the police.
- Threats of violence, or promoting terrorism or self-harm.
Not allowed
- Harassment, bullying, or insulting people for who they are (origin, religion, gender, sexuality, disability…).
- Recording, screenshotting or sharing other people without their consent.
- Spam, advertising, scams or asking for money.
- Showing drugs, weapons or illegal activity.
- Pretending to be someone else, or using pre-recorded or fake video.
How we enforce this
Automated detection and user reports. Breaking the rules leads to bans that get longer each time: 10 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 30 days, or permanent for serious violations.
